And at least I realized today that I'm getting a killer tan (sweet!).

BTW, thanks for all your comments about how I need to come back and stuff... because as gay as this sounds, it really is helping me through this. Seriously. <3Nugshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12075248812743206033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28113320.post-25817510848555056952010-07-30T10:22:22.337-07:002010-07-30T10:22:22.337-07:00Overload yourself on Cali-themed entertainment... ...Overload yourself on Cali-themed entertainment... It seems like every book, movie, TV show, and magazine is about New York until you realize that every other book, movie, TV show, and magazine is about LA.

It could be WAY worse - I mean, do you KNOW what's going on in most of this country? Because I don't. Becuase nothing is going on. A lot of people are dying to move to socal, and I remember in my four years there I was actually pretty pumped about it. Soak in the sun, feel smug when it's 70 degrees in January and yours truly is freezing her butt off, but come back soon anyway. :)Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01254666963428340808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28113320.post-60501171143080706452010-07-29T21:55:51.087-07:002010-07-29T21:55:51.087-07:00I wouldn't say it's a BAD choice; I do kno...I wouldn't say it's a BAD choice; I do know some people that like LA. It's just not my taste, especially being a born-and-bred New York City girl. But hey, if I'm still in California in a month and you're totally bored, let me know if you're up for a culture-less tour around the city.Nugshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12075248812743206033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28113320.post-73945305219922764542010-07-29T21:46:55.194-07:002010-07-29T21:46:55.194-07:00This was rough for me to read as I'm moving fr...This was rough for me to read as I'm moving from NY to LA in a month. While this decision is elective (damn actors), it still scares the crap out of me. My whole family (save an aunt and some cousins) is in or around NY and ALL of my best friends. I wonder if this is a bad choice. I'm trying to lay off cookies, bagels, and pizza though, so maybe its good to leave.

:)

LA might not have a lot of culture, but it does have lots of outdoorsy things to offer, maybe try taking advantage of those?

I don't know.Adriahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05414213687769729671noreply@blogger.com
